Hi,

Well, I am a bit disappointed. I have ordered 3 RUT955, updated the firmware and gotten internet via 4G. But all 3 have problems with the RMS VPN Hub. Meaning I have setup the vpn hub according to online guidelines (i mean, its not that many steps that could go wrong) - one vpn hub per RUT955.

All 3 VPN hubs cannot access the LAN subnet. When I add a route (scan device) i am only able to see ip addesses that WHERE connected (not connected atm). If i enter a route manually e.g. a device/rut955 ip (192.168.82.1 255.255.255.0) it gets added. After restart of the vpn hub and downloading the vpn configuration i can connect successfully but i cannot ping 192.168.82.1.

yes i have enabled lan forwarding.

when i add the whole subnet (192.168.1.0/24) as a manual route in the vpn hub it appears to be working......

Hello,

The issue is the routes. Manually set routes to specific devices should be set as for example 192.168.82.1 255.255.255.255 instead of 192.168.82.1 255.255.255.0

Automatic scan allows to detect devices connected to the routers LAN to simplify the configuration, however, keep in mind that it may not always detect separate devices. As for a whole subnet access, the route has to be configured manually.

As you have already have figured out, setting 192.168.1.0 with netmask 255.255.255.0 allows to access a whole subnet.

Best regards,

Well, it all went good with one RUT955. But it does not work with my second device.... The device has been placed at the end user and the configuration is identical with above.

In rms vpn hub, i am able to scan the network and add specific routes. But they will not work.. Yes hub is is restarted and hub is restarted
