Is there a way to get the RUT955 up and running without a webUI, for example via SSH? I would like to start up the device automatically (without anyone having to log in), is there a communication path to the modem that is open in the delivery state?

Hello,

You can definitely run the router using CLI/SSH. Please check the following page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Command_Line_Interfaces.

Since you are using RUT955, you can configure serial rs232/485 to operate in Modem mode, which allows you to directly device's modem using AT commands.

Could you explain, what do you mean by “the delivery state“?

Best regards,

The modem is part of an EdgeProcessingUnit (EPU). The EPU is automatically put into operation, the only manual procedure that has to be done is to update modem firmware and apply configuration (restore backup) by the WebUI.

My goal is to find a way how to setup the modem automatically - To do so a communication path (e.g. SSH) needs to be open in the delivery state. If I have to activate the communication path, I can also stay with the previous procedure.
