Hi guys,

I updated my Fritzbox with the latest Labor FW.

Here I have now the possibility to setup a VPN with Wireguard protocol.

But, Fritzbox is generating their own keys.

At the end I get a configuration file with all info.

Is it possible to import such a file to RUTX11?

I can`t find this, RUTX11 is generating their own public key.

Thx for your input.

Cheers

Thomas

Hello,

Currently RutOS does not accept Wireguard configuration files. However, have you tried to replace the keys generated by RUTX11 with the ones in a file from Fritzbox?

Best regards,

Thx for your fast reply.

I changed the keys manually on the RUT now.

But I didn`t get a public ip :-(

This are the Fritzbox settings

And here the seetings I`ve made

And I don`t know, where to save the DNS from the FB.

Tried it under DNS>Mob, but no success.

Maybe you have any idea.

Cheers

I changed now the data on the RUTX incl. "Allowed IP" and "Persistent Keep alive" as recommended.

But it doesn`t work.Is there any configuration manual for other routers(except Fritzbox) where I can take a look?

Cheers

Hello! Have you meanwhile found out how it works?

Is there somebody from Teltonika who could please provide some further advice how to import or where manually enter which data exported from another router like an AVM Fritzbox in a router from Teltonika?

My Fritzbox is on 192.168.178.1/24 and my RUTX11 on 192.168.11.1/24.

Here is my Fritzbox Wireguard config with #comments added and keys redacted:

[Interface]
PrivateKey = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx=
Address = 192.168.11.1/24
DNS = 192.168.178.21,192.168.178.1
DNS = fritz.box

[Peer]
PublicKey = ppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp=
PresharedKey = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz=
AllowedIPs = 192.168.178.0/24
Endpoint = yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.myfritz.net:55555
PersistentKeepalive = 25

Which of the above data rows go where on the RUTX11 Wireguard settings shown below?

Do the ports of the Fritzbox Endpoint (5555) and the Listen port of the RUTX11 need to be the same?

Which DNS servers go below - DNS from the Teltonika (RUTX11) router (if enabled) or the DNS from AVM's (Fritzbox) router?

Thank you so much for your support, which is highly appreciated! yes

Did anyone successfully connect a RUT*** device to a Fritzbox via WireGuard yet?

I've fruitlessly wasted a lot of time with my RUTX11 on what is a breeze on Android, Mac and Windows.
