It seems that the time and date recorded against received SMS messages is when they were sent, rather than when they were received.

Is it possible to get this changed to the time a SMS message was received?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching us.

Could you please explain more?

Where exactly do you want to change the time?

What device you are using?

What version of firmware are you using?

If it's possible, kindly provide an example for your use case.

Thanks

Teltonika RUT240, Firmware RUT2_R_00.07.02

I send an SMS message from an outside application to the Teltonika and 30 seconds later read the messages from the Teltonika via the http interface and and calculate the difference in the time from sending the message (epoch time contained in the message) with the reported message time by the message from the Teltonika,

The Teltonika would seem to be using the time the message was sent, as the messages are often not available via the webui for some time, but then appear with the timestamp when they were sent.

Is the time from the message itself? Or should it be the arrival time?, Can it be the arrival time?

Hello,

The timestamp seen in the Messages tab is generated by the router when it receives an SMS message, so it displays the arrival time. However, for an SMS message to arrive it usually takes no more than 1 second, and WebUI measures the time received in seconds, so there wouldn't be enough accuracy to calculate the delta. Unfortunately there is no setting to configure which timestamp is shown.

Let me know if any more information is needed.

Best regards,
