Hello,
There seems to be issues with the router's modem module. There are several instances, where it disconnects from the CPU. It might be an indication of failing hardware, however, the firmware of the module is rather old too, thus, I would like you to perform an update. Instructions are below.
Before attempting the procedure, please update router's firmware to 7.02 firmware or above, as these instructions are only valid with current RutOS. If legacy firmware is needed for your use, you will be able to downgrade afterwards. Next, you need to connect your router to a different WAN source, either wired or wireless. Once that is done:
- Access your device via SSH and execute the following commands:
- opkg update
- opkg install modem_updater
- opkg install sshfs
- modem_updater -g
- The last command will list available firmware versions. Next, modify the following command:
- modem_updater -i <ID> -v <VERSION>
- <ID> - should be 1-1, however, in case of an error you will be shown a correct ID.
- <VERSION> - enter the latest firmware version from the list of the previously executed command, it should be EG25GGBR07A08M2G.
Best regards,
