The linux kernel 3.18 had his EOL in January 2017 (Linux kernel version history - Wikipedia).

Is there a roadmap to migrate to a current Linux kernel?

Hi,

We have a RUTOS system using 5.4.147 kernel version, and it's available for the RUT240

If it helps you can download it from:

RUT240 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

It's called: RUT2_R_00.07.02.7

Thank you for this information.

Is there anywhere a knowledge base article which explaoins the difference between the Legacy software and the RUT2_R firmware?

Is the legacy firmware discontinued?

Which firmware (Leagy or not) will be delivered with new devices?

Unfortunately in teh download section there a two branches of firmware but with no explaination...
