Folks, so I have a domaindiscount dynamically updated sub domain. you know them probably, key-systems

I use these settings:

https://dynamicdns.key-systems.net/update.php?hostname=rut950.my.domaint&password=thepassword&ip=auto

And I have set the RUT to use "Public" and the detection URL http://checkip.dyndns.com

Well, the updates is sucessfull to the right public adress, then the next time it checks back between the public address and the DNS entry, it comes back with the right public address and a DNS entry that has 192.168.1.1  (the RUTs internal IP) as entry.

I dont have any explanation how that happens, in the DDNS log is no entry for the update to 192.168.1.1, only the ones to the right public IP.... I have it deactivated in the RUT now and currently just call that keysystems URL once in a while from a remote running machine, but thats no permament solution, obviously.

So what the heck am I doing wrong?

Here is a screenshot from my settings. edit: that did not work...

so the settings are

custom

the url etc.

ip source is set to: public

url to detect is set to: http://checkip.dyndns.comt

Hello,

Would it be possible to get some screenshots, or a more detailed explanation, to better understand the issue, as I have created a similar config with custom update URL, only using dynu as a DDNS service provider, but have not encountered any issues.

Best regards,
