Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

i work for a tec company in Germany and we are selling some Teltonika products to our customers.

A customer of ours asked a question: Are there any known problems or misfunctions if a RUT 955W../J... is placed in the following countries for a long period of time?

  • EU 27, Norwegen, Schweiz, England, Wales, Scotland
  • United States of America
  • Canada
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Indonesia
  • India
  • South Korea
  • China

It would be nice if someone could provide some infos on the long term use of the global variants in these countries. If there are known problems, it would be nice if you could describe them so we can get back to our customer...

Thanks a lot

Hi,

RUT955 W***** is certified in North America (USA/Canada) for AT&T, Verizon and T-mobile operators. While RUT955J is certified in North America for AT&T and Bell. You can make a choice according to the operator and region for these two product codes.

Some countries and operators may require certificates and approval in order to use the devices. The global version (RUT955 V*****) indeed supports a wider range of LTE 4G frequency bands to run different SIM cards, but may not have a certificate for that particular region. Thus, the operator or region at some point may decide in future not to support connection to the global version.

Please follow the below link for frequency supported by RUT955:
