Hi All,

We are having an issue with the Failover function in the RUT955. After losing connection to the WAN interface the devices automatically fails over to 4G. But, dns is not. It looks like the DNS does not switch over automatically. When we disable the WAN interface in the GUI, dns switches over.

Also in the basic configuration after a factory reset it's not working.

Is this a known issue or is there a fix for this?

Which firmware version your device is running?

Could you specify the steps and configuration changes to reproduce the issue?

How do you test to confirm, which DNS servers are in use?

I would also like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.
