Can the RUT360 function as a bootp server?

Hello,

You could try the following suggestion from OpenWRT forum: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/bootp-configuration-allen-bradley-plc5/65309/2.

You do not need to enable any check boxes after editing the ethers file, it is read by default.

Could you provide more details on why do you need bootp protocol and also, reply, if the above suggestion works?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm looking at updating my router to one of the RUTXXX devices but my work involves testing an EthernetIP controller which requires a bootp server to operate. So I wanted to check that something like the RUT360 would work in this application.
