Question

Power range of the RUT241 says 9-30VDC.

Just to make sure: will this model work on a 12VDC car battery ?

Also, does the model have a power switch? Cann't find it.

Does this mean it's powered on/off by (un-)plugging into power-source ?

The RUT241 will work from the 12 V car battery. The device powers on by plugging the cable into the device's 4-pin port - it does not have a power switch. For easier connection, you could use a power cable like this: https://teltonika-networks.com/product/power-cable-with-4-way-open-wire/
