Hello,

I just bought a TRB500. I have really good connection on most available 5G channels, and tower in line of sight (+-800m). I also have a carrier that supports CA, so my phones can get +1Gbit/s easily. However, the TRB500 doesn't want to do carrier aggregation, at least not automatically. So I get 250-270mbit/s tops. It is fine, but I obviously want to get the TRB500 to do CA if it is possible and available. I've gone through the modem docs (https://www.quectel.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Quectel_RG50xQ_Series_5G_Specification_V1.2.pdf), and it looks to me CA shouldn't be a problem.

Does the TRB500 support CA?

Does the below mean I use CA, even though CA is listed in GUI as "single"?

root@Teltonika-TRB500:~# gsmctl -A AT+QCAINFO
+QCAINFO: "PCC",1750,100,"LTE BAND 3",1,245,-82,-9,-52,9
+QCAINFO: "SCC",3350,100,"LTE BAND 7",1,80,-91,-7,-76,25
+QCAINFO: "SCC",51,50,"LTE BAND 1",2,449,-84,-7,-55,16
+QCAINFO: "SCC",9460,50,"LTE BAND 28",2,38,-66,-7,-41,23

Hello,

This is a known issue.

The modem does perform carrier aggregation, and that is exactly what you see in the QCAINFO command output, however it is not correctly represented in the web interface.

This will be solved in the 7.3 firmware.

Best regards,
