New Modbus TCP Slave Device - Data Type - ASCII first character in low/high byte

I have Schneider devices that need the byte order of ASCII reversed.

Could a new types be added to a future release?

  • ACSII, Single Byte, First Character in Low byte
  • ACSII, Single Byte, First Character in High byte

Example where ASCII data type causes the characters to be swapped per byte

Register r1 r2 r3 r4 r5 r6
Modbus C1 0_ Br ea ke r\x00
