Hi,
I'm using 7.00.2.
I've set the modem to have specific bands to the provider and the the system is very stable.
A bit afraid to break it due to an upgrade. So asking for some advice how to proceed.

Just wondering if I should download and upgrade from 7.00.2 -> 7.01.2 (2022.01.04)

or go directly from 7.00.2 -> 7.02.7 (2022.09.12)

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_Firmware_Downloads

(just added picture of the the modem/sim card for reference and if somebody is wondering..)

Hello,

It is recommended to update with keeping your current configuration no more that two iterations between current and target firmware versions. Otherwise, various issues might begin to occur.

Thus, it is suggested to update to the latest with Keep settings option disabled straight away and reconfigure your device afterwards. You can slightly reduce configuration time by copying configuration files from /etc/config/ directory within the router using WinSCP, as instructed in this page, and replacing with those files after update.

The file with configuration data in the screenshot can be found in /etc/config/simcard

Best regards,

Thank you for feedback. This is what I was hoping for. I will do the WinSCP routine and screenshot all config pages (to be sure) and then upgrade to latest firmware. This comment was very usefull.
