Question

Hello,

I currently can connect to my PLC using RMS and CoDeSys.  So the connection to the PLC (via 232) appears to be correct.

But if I want to update the application (via 232) on the PLC, CodeSys attempts to download but never succeeds, stops at 0 bytes.  Then goes out on a "communications error (#0): Logout Performed".

Has anyone tried to download an application via 232 into a PLC?

Could you share more details about your configuration? Are you using RS232 Over IP function? Are you using VPN Hub on RMS? 

Just to clarify, two-way communication with the PLC works, it's only an issue when a file needs to be uploaded, correct?

Also, if possible, please attach a Troubleshoot file from the RUT955 so I can see your configuration. Troubleshoot file can be generated by navigating to System → Administration → Troubleshoot. It will only be visible to Teltonika moderators.

Yes, I am using RS232 Over IP. and have configured the RMS VPN Hub.  

Yes, communication is ok, only an issue when trying to download a file.  It's an IFM PLC CR0235.
I can't attach the file, can I send directly to you.
