Hi all!

Can I update firmware RUT900 to version RUT9_R_00.07.03  (RUT9_R_00.07.03_WEBUI.bin) ?

I have updated bootloader to version 3.0.1 but still can't update firmware from RUT9_R_00.06.09.2  to RUT9_R_00.07.03.

Is this even possible ?

Hello,

Are you able to update to firmware versions of 7.0 and above? Could you provide your device's product code?

It is likely that you have a pre-facelift hardware design device and, unfortunately, will not be able to update higher than 6.09.2.

A thing to note is that by now the device has reached the end of its lifetime and will no longer be supported. It is highly suggested to get a newer device.

Is this information enough? Can I determine the product code via WUI or CLI?

You should find product code in Status -> Device page. If it contains something with RUT900*G1***, your device is not upgradable to latter than the current latest legacy firmware.

The bolded italic number in RUT900 001010 indicates that it is a pre-facelift version of the device, which means that you will not be able to update it to RutOS firmware versions.
