Hello everybody,

I try to use Wget Reboot in order to reboot the RUT955 if the mobile connection has died. Unfortunatelly it is not working, the RUT955 is rebooted continously even if the host to ping is available.

When I run the wget command in CLI, the answer is  "wget: not an http or ftp url:..." so this is obviously the reason for all the reboots.

Is there a possibility to use wget reboot with https websites? Firmware version is 00.06.09.2

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

Is there a reason why RUT9_R_00.07.03.1 cannot be used?

Legacy RutOS versions do not support SSL for Wget, so only HTTP or FTP URLs can be used. This function was added in the newer versions of RutOS, so an update would be needed.

Otherwise, if upgrading to v7 of RutOS is not possible, ping reboot may be a better alternative.
