Hello, I've got problems with data limit in the past, see here.

As available i updated to 7.03 and a few days ago my the router gone offline without reaching the 950 MB.

I tried to do "uci set data_limit.prim_enb_conn=0" and "uci commit" without a affect / response.

After reboot there is a sms with "connected" and everything seems ok, but no internet.

In the past what 7.02 means the data qould be over I cloud reset by sms, now not and now the limit is not reches.

Today I took a ride to the router and on "Status/Overview/Data Limit" is reached 950 of 950 MB and "Data limit clear due -1.2.2023, 00:00:00" - seems if he had not reset on 1.1.2023.

I do a reset on the WebUI and the router goes online directly.

Why are the sms-commands not working, why is 7.03 not "better".

thx, Dirk

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this. I will test data limit reset.

As for the command you were trying to execute, I assume your goal was to disable Data limit.

If that is the case, uci command to achieve this over SMS in 7.3 is:

  • <authorization_phrase> uci set quota_limit.mob1s1a1.enabled=0

Replace <authorization_phrase> with your configured authentication method.

Also, an additional SMS rule can be configured to reset mobile data usage in Services -> Mobile utilities -> SMS Utilities.

There, add a new rule with your preferred phrase, for example data_reset, select Mobile Data usage reset action.

Send SMS with the following syntax:

  • <authorization_phrase> data_reset mob1s1a1

If data limit reset happened to occur on a scheduled time once more, I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Once spotted that data reset failed, withot doing any changes to router's config, access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Attached files are private and visible only to Teltonika Moderators.

Best regards,
