Hi, I have tried and failing misserably to split my one subnet 192.168.0.0 into two - all goes via ISP unless listed in the VPN Gateway but it is a hit and miss and the WIFI CAlling just does not like it.

So I Was thinking about the prospect of two subnets - 192.168.0.0 for VPN and 192.168.3.0 for ISP traffic.

As this is all coming from a wifi controller (Unifi controller), I can set up VLANs on it to point the 3.0 to the VLAN 3 and I have set up a VLAN on RUTX09 as interface based but that is where my searching has hit a brick wall.

So my question is: Is there a guide anywhere to

a) Set up a VLAN 192.168.3.0 that will either be for VPN or ISP

b) Use the existing default subnet 192.168.0.0 for VPN or ISP (inverse of a)

c) Set the routing of VPN onto one subnet and leave the ISP in the other. Without causing chaos to the Wificalling etc.

A big ask I know but I have factory reset my router now 4 times, resorted to restore and managed to lock the kids out of streaming so risk a war!

Any help always appreciated

Hello,

Could you check if the configuration example provided in the link below does not satisfy your use case requirements?
