Hello,

I can't get forward of WAN IP to UDM Pro in Passthrough mode.

Situation: RUTX50 with static IP (Telia) and custom APN was set based on provider recommendation. Then MAC of UDM Pro was filled in of port 9 (not 1, 2, 3, etc.) and settings were saved as well as rebooted. DHCP active.

Then UDM Pro restarted.

Nothing positive happens after many times. Reset doesn't help as well as fresh settings.

Regards,

Hello,

Which firmware version your device has installed?

Did you try restarting the UDM device?

Is UDM's port 9 configured as DHCP client?

Could you login to the router via SSH and execute the command:

  • logread -f

Then restart UDM device, wait for it to boot up and connect ethernet cable from the router to UDM Pro's port 9. The logs should show DHCP exchange. It would allow to confirm addresses participating in the exchange.

For a deeper inspection you may download TCP dump from Services -> Package manager page and enable monitoring for br-lan interface in System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section. For a more tailored packet capture, I would suggest to enable packet capture on LAN interface specifically for DHCP protocol with the command:

  • tcpdump -i br-lan port 67 or port 68 -w /tmp/capture.pcap

Then extract this file from the router.

Best regards,

It is a RUTX_R_00.07.02.8 version.

UDM was restarted many times and port 9 is configured as DHCPv4.

Rest of recommendations I'll manage in the nearest time.

Could you also generate a troubleshoot file and attach it after restarting UDN and plugging ethernet cable to port 9?

To do it, access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide additional insight into the issue. Attach the file by editing your question.
