I noticed that in the 7.x series of firmware, upon upgrades my mob1s1a1 interface settings are being changed erroneously. I specifically set the  pdptype  to  'ipv4v6'  — but this is being overwritten during the upgrade process and changed back to  'ip'  (ipv4 only) which causes a loss of connectivity since we use IPv6 to connect with our devices to get around CGNAT. This happened when upgrading from 00.07.03.1 → 00.07.03.2, as well as 00.07.03.2 → 00.07.03.3.

Can this please be addressed?

Detail:

/etc/config/network:
config interface 'mob1s1a1'
    option pdptype 'ipv4v6'

is changing to:

config interface 'mob1s1a1'
    option pdptype 'ip'

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this.

It has been forwarded to the developers, future firmware releases should include proper migration of the setting.

Best regards,
