We are experiencing issues on a Teltonica RUT955 device located in Singapore and equipped with a SIM.
The system has worked fine for a day or so but after that we noticed that the device lost connection with
the mobile data network making. When we (remote via TeamViewer) connect to the configuration page we noticed
that the 'Mobile' option is not available anymore in the network page. In the interfaces page we still see the MOB interfaces, but however it seems that the mobile protocol configuration was missing for whatever reason. After a reset of the device the option was available again but the next day we encountered the same issue. We have also tried to reinstall the firmware, but with the same result.  The Logs indicate that the SIM is connected to a not supported network, but the status in the overview indicates “connected”.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

From what you are describing, it appears to be a hardware related issue.

In these instances, the simplest solution would be to return the device to your reseller for a warranty repair or replacement.

Otherwise, I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, make sure to replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Attached files are private and visible only to Teltonika Moderators.

Also, after the issue occurs, could you check if you get any output from the command below, by logging to router via SSH:

  • ls /dev | grep USB

Best regards,
