Hi,

We have a RUT241 (RUT1) with 4G connection outside a building.

The supply is a PoE injector: https://www.wifi-shop24.com/quwireless-poe-gigabit-injector-qupsu-gp241e-24v-1a-24watts. It is located inside the building.

Another rut241 (RUT2) has its WAN connected the LAN port from the PoE injector.

RUT2 is providing a WIFI inside the building.

RUT2 does not have internet access. RUT1 has internet access.

Should we configure the setup differently to get internet access on RUT2?

Thanks!

Hello,

Could you check, if the both RUT devices are in different subnets?

Are you able to access RUT1 if you connect your PC/Laptop to the LAN port of the PoE injector? This would ensure that DHCP from RUT1 is working.

Otherwise, could you replicate your setup and configuration, login to RUT2's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. Attach the file by editing your question. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Best regards,

Thanks for you help!

Having the two devices on different subnets fixed the issue.
