Hi to all, I have following question:
- RUT240, LAN 192.168.1.254/24 + MOBILE + WLAN
- ADSL router 192.168.1.1/24 (private IP from internet provider)
- Wireless provider (private IP from provider)
- My device 192.168.1.2/24

Private IP from providers, so I need to use VPN client to access to my device.
Priotity:
- ADSL router: cheapest solution, flat fare.
- Wireless interface
- Mobile: most expensive

Can I set failover to work using device on LAN network (RUT240 and ADSL router on same network)?
I know better solution would be use different networks for LAN and WAN and connect ADSL router on WAN, but I can't access to instruments and I can only program RUT240 remotely,
thanks,.

Hello,

To have two routers within the same LAN could try employing VRRP, however, it has to be supported by both devices. For a configuration example, please refer to this page.

Otherwise, you would need to place ADSL in a different subnet and connect it to RUT's WAN port.

Best regards,
