Hello,

We are looking for a Cell modem which can support IP Passthrough on 1 port and on the other port support NAT. The devices we have require IP Passthrough for proper connection. But our other device can handle NAT.

Thanks

Hello,

The device that suits your requirements is RUTX12. It has two modems one of which can e configured to operate in Passthrough mode, the other in NAT.

Hello, Can this be used with only 1 Sim card. This is our end goal.

Hello,

Unfortunately, a single modem can only operate a single mode, thus you would need two separate SIMS to achieve your desired functionality.

Hello,

We have a RUT950 which we have two sim cards. We are trying to setup one for passthrough and the second one for NAT. Is this doable as we can't get it working for either.

Thanks

Actually, it might work with a single SIM.

Could you please try configuration, described in the following link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Multi-APN?

As for instructions, on properly setting Bridge/Passthrough modes, please refer here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Mobile_Bridge_mode_troubleshooting.

Hello,

Make the changes and both show connection, but nothing is still working. I can't ping #6 from a location which is being used as passthrough The IP adddress is correct (sim) so something is stopping this. Also #4 is setup as NAT and I also can't ping this.

Thanks

Both interfaces are given IPs from private range, which are not routable over the internet.

They are under CGNAT, thus, unless you are within some private network, pinging these IPs from public internet is not possible.

Hello,

They are on our private network, but accessible from the internet. We can use the same sim cards in the Sierra LX60 and passthrought works. Don't understand why the RUT950 can't do the same thing. I followed the passthrough document and it just doesn't work.

Thanks for any insight

I was unable to make a similar configuration to work as well.

Could you provide a more detailed description of your use case?

Also, could you attach a troubleshoot file by editing your question? To generate the file, access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there.

With these details, I will consult the developers, whether such a scenario can be implemented.
