Question

I have an RUT955 router with the latest firmware installed.  I have a 2 year Surfshark VPN subscription.  I am unable to get the router to work with WireGuard, has anyone successfully got this setup to work, and if so do you have a step by step crib sheet.  Thanks in advance

Hello,

Following instructions here, should help you set up the VPN.

The graphical interface of Teltonika devices is, of course, different, however most of the steps and configuration options apply.

Keep in mind that you do not need to configure a new interface in step one under Configure the interface section or create a new firewall zone in step 4, as it is done automatically. All of the configurable settings are in Services -> VPN -> Wireguard page.

Could you attach a troubleshoot file to your question? Please, replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.
