Question

Hi guys,

trying to get modbus tcp to mqtt and back. i have a plc which has ip 192.168.1.164 on the LAN1 of the rut956. With a modbus master i can read adress 1001 /or 1000 and get values. so plc has modbus tcp active and i can read it.
If i try the same with the rut956 i just get a daemon down error message.
I did not find anything where i can enable modbus master daemon or find any location to debug it?

Hello,

What I assume the issue is, is that before being able to test MODBUS requests, you must first save the configuration with service enabled. Once saved, open the configuration instance again and try pressing the Test button.

yep, that was it.

Now i am getting wrong adress errors but i will fix that (or ask more detailed here again)
