Rutx09 - Followed can we please get tailscale added to the OS - Crowd Support Forum | Teltonika Networks and got tailscale up and running but it is not the most uptodate.

Can anyone help me on how to update it or if it can actually be updated?

Hi,

You can run 'opkg update' and 'opkg list | grep tailscale' to see which tailscale version is available via opkg. Currently, the latest version is not available on the OpenWrt, and thus, on our devices. So I suggest waiting until the newer version will become available. However, there should not be any issues with using the available version. The connection should work fine when communicating with other tailscale clients that use a newer version. More information about the tailscale package can be found on the OpenWrt web page here.

Kind Regards,

Andzej

Hi there,

I've found the openwrt packages are quite old (v1.24).  I've written a method where you can install the latest tailscale client on Teltonika routers:
