Hey there,

I have a problem that can probably be solved easily.

I have a L2TP client/server which connects successfully and is pingable via the virtual interface.

I have used this guide:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/wikibase/index.php?title=L2TP_configuration_examples_RutOS&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop

Now I would like to use the virtual interface as a physical one, so that the LAN devices get an IP address directly from this network and are addressable.

Is this possible?

If so how? Via a newly defined interface?

Hello,

Unfortunately, your desired functionality is not possible. L2TP bridging requires BCP (Bridge control protocol), which is not implemented in Teltonika routers and, at the moment, there are no plans to implement this.

If GRETAP can be considered as an alternative, it is possible to configure it on Teltonika routers.

Best regards,
