I’ve problems with WIFI scan with my RUTX11 on current firmware RUTX_R_00.07.04.1

In WebUI at NETWORK > Wireless: After click to SCAN usually the list of available networks is listed to join to the network.
Unfortunately, after click to scan, the hour glass turns shortly, the browser session gets logged off, and a short message is thrown „Access Denied“.

Before I had upgraded the firmware, the scan feature worked fine.

I’m connected with WIFI 5G. But with LAN cable there is the same behaviour.
The network I would like to connect to has a different IP address then my X11.
In the related article the factory reset was recommended. Since these articles are based on older firmware, I hope this is not longer necessary.

Every creative idea to solve this malfunction would highly appreciated.

Hello,

It is not clear, why your issue occurs, thus device reset is recommended. Another option is to reinstall firmware via bootloader, as instructed here.

If the issue still persists, I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue, by attempting a few WiFi scans, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Best regards,

A Factory Reset via WebUI was necessary to fix the problem.

Thanks for your honest recommendation!
