I have 2 newer modems: 950 with a new case where you can easily change the SIM card

I bought a used RUT 950 updated to the latest version, and I see that the CLI command does not work: LTE band lock

Here are the screenshots:

What to do in this case? Did older modems not support this feature?

Hello,

The commands are supported in the legacy firmware as well.

As for the errors you receive, I would like you to check the following:

  • Did you copy and paste the commands, or have entered them by yourself to the terminal? There might be issues with pasting from the browser.
  • Do the routers contain modem from Quectel? To check manufacturer and the model of the modem, enter the following command:
    • gsmctl -wy

Best regards,
