We just install a RUT240 2 weeks ago.

As soon as the RUT loose AC power it will never work again (when its restored).

the device can "work" few seconds after restart, but suddenly stop work, no ping, no webserver nothing.

The only solution is to restore to factory and load the config file.

Hi,

first thing I would do is update the firmware to
RUT2 R 00.07.03.4 (do NOT use the 07.04.x!)
and "do not keep settings". If that doesn't help
then the unit might be defective.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues!

The first thing I would recommend is updating the device to the latest firmware without the option to keep settings enabled. This will update the device and restore it to its factory settings.

If that does not help, I would recommend trying the factory reset procedure using the bootloader method described here.

If the device still does not boot after these procedures, please check if the device shows the same behavior without uploading your backup file. If that does not help, the device should most likely be sent for RMA.
