Hello, does the RUTX50 device also support the use of MCC / PLMN ID's in the range of "999 xxx" ? These are used for private networks / campus networks (i.e. non-Operator networks).

Also, I'd like to know whether in 5G SA, Band n78 is supported (3700-3800MHz, TDD).

Thx for confirmation.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

Yes, our devices do support private 5G networks. As long as the MCC is valid, there should be no difference between public and private 5G/LTE networks. n78 band is supported in both - SA and NSA environments.

Hope this helps!

Hello, thx for your reply. Yet - just making sure, sorry - your statement "...as long as MCC is valid..." could also be interpreted that a valid MMC is only a commercial NW operator's MCC.

The MCC/MNC (Mobile Country Code / Mobile Network Code) is very specific to the owner of the private 5G network, and can the MNC can be any number he decides for himself to use. The MCC for such Private Networks is by ITU definition set to 999. It may not be affiliated at all to any mobile network operator's own MCC/MNC combination.

Thus, just asking for that detail again: you can confirm that any MCC/MNC combination of type "999 XXX" is supported by your equipment, right?

Thx in advance.
