Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

It would be great if you could replicate the issue, then access the router's WebUI, go to SYSTEM > ADMINISTRATION > TROUBLESHOOT section, download troubleshoot file from there and send it to me.

Logs in this file will help to answer what causes this issue.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Could you try older FW, like 7.3 or 7.2 (use lastest hotfix of those) to see if the issue persits, as there is an error but quite uninformative one

Hi,

I tried to load many older firmware, but I can't.

I had an error each times ("An unexpected error occurred").

Hi,

That is quite strange, as if the router would not recognize the FW.

Could you try to upload the firmware file manually to /tmp folder and then update it?

the command will be:

sysupgrade -n /tmp/<FW name>

there if the option to force the upgrade by adding a -F flag to the command

Hi,

I finally succeed to update the router with old firmware RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.6_WEBUI.bin.

With this one, the cell network work. Then I will stay with it for now.

Thanks for help.

Great to hear.

As the device is quite old I think we stopped firmware support since 7.3.4, which is the last one that should be used with RUT230, there, however, was not block added to stop from upgrading to never firmware
