Hi,

I have Starlink in my RV and want to use RUT950 instead of Starlink Router, to have LTE as Fallback. To power the Starlink Dish I want to use something like this (https://boondocker.io/products/dishy-rv-power-supply). This device also has passive PoE Option, so it can power rut950. But according to this (https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_Powering_Options) LAN Speed drops down to 100mbit when using PoE. Is that so?

Is there a way to power rut950 using the aux 48v output?

Hello,

Sorry if I misunderstood your question, but RUT950 supports 10/100 Mbps speeds on ethernet ports. This information is available on the product page itself here.

Regarding the powering, the device is designed for 9-30 VDC. Higher voltage will damage the device. Even when the voltage is close to 30v, it is recommended to use additional safety equipment to suppress voltage peaks from the power supply.

Kind Regards,

Andzej
