Hello,

My router RUT240 does not connect to the mobile provider. The problem is that the mobile signal has only 2 signal bars in my whole area. The router connects without problems in another location with 4 signal bars. Latest firmware R_00.07.04.3 is implemented and external antenna is mounted.

The surfing speed is not so relevant, but the router should be able to establish a connection.

Is this a problem or normal?

Is there a solution for this?

What kind of signal parameters are you receiving, please? Staus>Network>Mobile>>Data Transmission
 

and compare the receiving parameters to https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Mobile_Signal_Strength_Recommendations
 

If you are aware that there is a signal problem in your neighborhood, what you could try is to test with a third party antenna such as Poynting, Quwireless with a exterior high mounted setup.

Thank you for your answer.

At the moment I have no mobile signal at the router at all. Otherwise, no better than 3G RSSI -100dB. Strangely, at the same time in the same place with the same provider, I have 3G on smartphone about -90dB signal. I guess I will have to change my provider anyway.

An outside mounted high antenna is not an option for us.

Hello again Shine,

I would advise you to try a different ISP and compare the result , if unfortunately that doesn't show any result's kindly provide us with the troubleshoot file 

and Regarding your question about why you're smartphone is having a better signal parameter.

Most Likely it'll be due to the different LTE module's used by the mobile which are running on multiple bands.
