Hello, I would like to generate the ipsec file automatically via a shell script.
However the preshared key seems to encode in the backup ipsec file.
Is it possible to have the encoding?
Where then can the key be entered on the command line?

Hello,

If you refer to the value stored in /etc/config/ipsec file, you need to convert it from hexadecimal to ASCII.

Hello,

My preshared key is in ASCII : Sj1ZD9hAm, the Hex value is : 0x53 0x6a 0x31 0x5a 0x44 0x39 0x68 0x41 0x6d if I remove the 0x : 536a315a443968416d. In my backup file the value is : 0x4a64373342365a783854.

I was referencing 7.04.3.

Will have to check up on 7.2.5.

Would you consider updating your firmware?
