In my setup I'm currently using a separate BLE Gateway that continually scans for BLE beacons and forwards the results of that scan to a remote HTTP server.

My question is simply, is the same functionality possible with the X11? I've seen that the "Data to Server" function appears to offer a "Bluetooth Data" source but I'm unclear if this actually works as it doesn't appear to work. Is this for only paired devices (useless for my needs) and if not what are the prerequisites if any?

Some sort of set by step configuration example would be useful.

Hello,

Please note that you can get Bluetooth data and send it to a specific server via Data to server function as long as it supports (HTTP(s), MQTT)

But kindly you have to make sure that the BLE beacons sensor is paired with RUTX11 thru Bluetooth feature.
