problem with diacritics in modbus tcp alarms

I recently bought a RUT955, which already automatically had firmware marked RUT9_R_00.07.03.3.

Until then I always used the firmware marked RUT9_R_00.07.02.7

I use the Modbus TCP Alarms function.

In this new firmware, what happened to me is that when I write the sms text that teltonika is supposed to send with diacritics, sms sends it and fills all the places where diacritics are included with blank space.

Can you help me? Is this a firmware bug?

Hello,

I have replicated your issue on the latest 07.04.3 FW and indeed, the SMS messages sent through Modbus Alarms did not include any diacritics. However, diacritics are properly included when using the regular SMS sending function.

I will communicate this issue to our R&D department and provide you with an update as soon as there is any information available.

In the meantime, have you experimented with other firmware versions? For example, version 07.02.7?
