Dear Teltonika. Box new RUT240 keeps dropping and reconnecting ethernet-connections.....

Seems like more people are reporting similar problems. Please advice. I've attached a troubleshoot file.

Hello,

A few factors could be at play here:

  • Bad connection between the router and the end device;
    • There could be a break in the cable, a poorly terminated connection, or damage to the Ethernet port.
    • Try using a different cable, and testing on a different end device;
  • Issues with speed negotiation;
    • Try following this guide to set the connection speed manually. Make sure to use eth0 instead of eth1 to check the LAN port;
  • Issues on the end device;
    • Try connecting a different end device and check if the issue is still present;
  • Perform a factory reset;

 If none of these steps help, an RMA procedure will most likely be needed if the device is still in the RMA period. Please contact your reseller or sales manager if the device is still covered under warranty.

Best regards,

Same problem with a brand new RUT 360 - port link state is changing up / down every nth minute.

Seems more like it's a problem with the latest Mac Mini M2. We are still investigating and will report back.

Sure, it would be better if you created a separate query, as this seems like a different issue. Make sure to test on the latest firmware.
