Hello,

i am using several RUT241 devices. All of them are on RUT2M_R_00.07.03.3 firmware.

They are configured through Setup Wizard - remote management system disabled. Also, using Ping Reboot to modem reboot if ping is not success (host to ping 8.8.8.8) and Dynamic DNS to reach device remotely.

Problem is that after some time WIRELESS 2.4GHZ INTERFACES (Wi-Fi) is not visible - under WIRELESS 2.4GHZ INTERFACES section:  

Status: Running

Signal: -

Bitrate: -

Sometimes device reboot helps, but mostly not.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Would it be possible for you to update one of the devices to the latest firmware version with the 'keep settings' option disabled? 

If the issue persists after updating the firmware, please generate a troubleshoot file when the issue reoccurs before rebooting the device. Then, attach the troubleshoot file to your question by editing it. The troubleshoot file can be downloaded from System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot. The attached files are only visible to Teltonika moderators.

By latest you mean RUT2M_R_00.07.04.3_WEBUI.bin?

Devices are installed on charter boats (they are rented) and it is not so easy for us to update firmware with "keep settings" disabled. Will try when it will be possible.

Any other Suggestions?

Also, just to know, in Croatia the device will not be connected to the internet if you use Auto APN during the Setup Wizard (even though it says good one), only if you write it in CUSTOM section.
