Hello,

For the last weeks I have unsuccessfully tried to make a remote connection to a PLC (S7-1200) using a RUT955, and OpenVPN. I am at the point where I managed to make the VPN connection, I can access the equipment through OpenVPN IP address, but cannot make the connection with the Lan (192.168.2.10, 255.255.255.0) where I have my PLC(192.168.2.23 255.255.255.0) connected.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

On the client router, in the OpenVPN settings, input the LAN subnet address in the Remote network IP address field (192.168.2.0) and the netmask in the Remote network netmask field (255.255.255.0). This will allow you to reach the LAN subnet through the VPN connnection.

Best regards,

Hi,

Did you configure the server via WebUI or a configuration file like the client?
by anonymous
Hi,

The VPN server its from VPN book, the configuration of it was already done, I just downloaded the file and imported it in the router OpenVpn settings.
