Hello,
I have tested this situation on the newest FW on RUT240 and everything works. What you can do:
- Make sure other router’s configuration do not interfere with WiFi connection. (e.g. that router’s DHCP is not limited to only one device or that WiFi does not have “mac filter” option enable, etc.). It would be best if you could reset your device to factory default settings and check WiFi connection again (you can reset device to factory default settings from “System -> Administration” menu by pressing “Restore” button)
- Try to update router’s firmware to the latest one. Latest RUT240 firmware can be downloaded from here (https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/RUT2xx_Firmware)
- If resetting device to factory settings and upgrading its firmware would not solve your issue, try to connect second laptop to router again, then download troubleshoot package from the router and send it to me via private message (Troubleshoot package can be downloaded from “System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot” menu)
