I want to know if it's possible to send/receivce SMS through Internet connection (with data, not with sms protocol) ?

I'm not sure what you want to make.

But basically some where at the end of system SMS will be sent via SMS protocol.

I think there are 2 methods to sending SMS:

1°: by "GSM", if I have no unlimited SMS plan, I pay for each SMS send

2°: via the Internet (SMS data). By this way, mobile data are used and there is no fees for sending SMS.

My question is: Is it possible to do that with RUT950 ?

There is several ways to send SMS from RUT950 but there is the same result - You send SMS from Your router SIM card.

To send SMS you could use:

1. Command line with gsmctl -S -s "<phone number> <sms text>" options
2. WebUI
3. SMS POST/GET
4. SMPP
