Hi All,

Is there any way to make the RUT950 use the mobile network in routed mode? I.e. In our MPLS Network our Service Provider lets us use 4G as a connection method into our private cloud. Connecting to the correct 4G APN with CHAP login injects a framed route into BGP. Therefore an entire subnet gets routed to the 4G IP address of the router. We then just want to use that framed route LAN as our LAN on the router and do zero translation or bridging between the LAN and the Mobile WAN Network, no NAT, no bridging, nothing. It would appear that the RUT950 doesn't support this as other than NAT the bridge or passthrough modes assign the Mobile WAN IP to a LAN device instead of keeping it as a IP address for the router?

Thanks,

KJ

Hi,

NAT can be disabled for "NAT" mode of Mobile interface (no pun intended).

Go to Network->WAN and press Edit button for the Mobile interface.

You will find Disable NAT checkbox in the Advanced Setting section:
