I am looking for ideas of how best to proceed with a new RUT955.  I need to lock down the device so only specific connected devices have Internet access.

We looked at MAC address whitelisting using Iptables but this was not reliable and devices kept losing connectivity.

WiFi will be disabled and it will be cabled connection only.

What suggestions for the easiest way forward to lockdown to only a few specific devices?

Appreciate any input.

Thanks

Hello.

In order to serve only specific devices you have to disable DHCP server and assign a Static lease to the specific devices by knowing its MAC address. You can follow the instructions on the following 2 links
