I have spent 2 days and failed to get the RUT240 working in bridge mode with a Draytek Router. I connect the LAN port of the RUT240 to the WAN port of the draytek, configure the Draytek, configure the RUT240 with the MAC address of the Draytek WAN port but the WAN port is always shown as not connected to the internet.

I have tried:-

1) The Draytek router works fine using the same cables and configuration but with a Netgear 4G router (that doesn't require a MAC address)

2) The RUT240 works fine in NAT mode connected to the Draytek's Lan port with the Draytek's DHCP disabled.

3) I can connect to the RUT240 in bridge mode when connected directly to my computer and it doesn't show any errors in the log.

4) I have the latest firmware for the RUT240.

I want the Draytek doing the routing because it is better at keeping the mobile connection alive. The RUT240 disconnects every 5 minutes with the Reboot settings sending a ping every minute .

Hi,

Please check if you are using correct MAC address.

Connect Draytek and your PC to RUT240. Connect to router WebUI and check Status -> Routes -> ARP and check what MAC address is shown of Draytek.

We have checked with latest release (https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/RUT2xx_Firmware) and seems working correctly.
