I am having a problem with the RUT955 Email to SMS function.

I know SMS works from the device - I can use other methods, such as using the SMS utility in web management, or HTTP GET submission.

I can also see that the RUT955 is setting newly received emails to the POP3 mailbox to 'read'.

SMS messages are not sent however - I have read and followed the instructions at https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/RUT955_SMS_Gateway#Email_to_SMS

Can anyone help with this?

Hello,

I checked this feature myself and it works for me. First, try resetting the router to factory settings. Check if your firmware is up to date, if not, then update:
https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/RUT9xx_Firmware

Also, make sure that the email you use has no restrictions on connecting to third-party devices. For example, if you use Google gmail then you need to enable third-party access in your mail settings. If the issue persists, generate the troubleshoot file and send it to me via private message.
