L2TP over IPSEC on RUT950, PPTP OK, cannot connect W10 but can ping IP address

Question has been asked but no response after initial contact.

Have set up a RUT950 (RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.01) with a new profile,

- set up and enabled a L2tp server instance with the 192.168.1.x series as documented

- set up and enabled a IPSEC instance with a preshared key

- disabled PPTP as that is not going to be used (its intended for an Apple/Linux site)

Have then rebooted RUT950

W10  configured as documented  but get the NAT/VPN not allowed, but IP responds if PING'ed - but the office allows VPN connections. Have the Troubleshoot and the error message if anyone could help.
