Hi everyone,

I hope this has not been discussed already but I haven't found any answer that helped me.

I have the following config on my RUT240 and I would like to forward some UDP broadcast packets from one VLAN to the other. I allready tried all trafic rules I can think about but nothing works. I can't manage to get any UDP packet (identified by port) to be forwarded. Can you tell me how to proceed?

Notice that I use wan as lan on the second LAN.

Thanks for your help!

Please can someone help me with this?

I just want to have 2 separates networks (one using LAN port 1 and wifi and the other on port WAN as LAN of RUT240). And I want to forward UDP packets from one network to the other. It seems like all the rules I try are not working.

Please can anyone help me with this? I really can't make my two networks communicate with each other. Even if I use the same subnet and set all forward rules to accept in the firewall I can't manage to forward any packet.

Hello!

Try to create SNAT rules.

You could learn more about them here.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your help. I tried to create SNAT rules but still don't manage to get it work. To be honest I have the feeling the rules I create are not active. Is there a way to read the generated IPtable and/or follow the rule chain in the RUT240. I already tried to reset the router and start from scratch, but can' see any effect of the forward rules. Plus, I don't really see why it should be a SNAT rule?

Best,
